What is an EOS?
EOS Imaging Scan is an innovative ultra-low dose X-ray imaging system that scans a patient whilst they are standing upright. An EOS Scan shows natural, weight-bearing posture and allows specialists to evaluate spinal alignment and interactions between the spine and the rest of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the pelvis, hips and lower limbs.
Who needs an EOS scan?
If we are concerned about an underlying skeletal abnormality your podiatrist will refer you for an EOS scan to check for a scoliosis of the spine or leg length difference.

A. Yes, Your podiatrist will only refer you if you need to have this particular scan done.
